Rafael leads PAC SHIELD as CEO – but he is a roofer first and foremost, spending decades in the commercial roofing industry.

Rafael began his career as an apprentice roofer in the San Francisco Bay Area more than 30 years ago, where he demonstrated keen skill, hard work and dedication. This led to advancement in leadership roles, the responsibility of overseeing 2,600 roofers across multiple states and holding senior leadership and executive roles in regional and national contracting.

In 2017, Rafael founded PAC SHIELD ROOF SERVICES, Inc., with the intention to build a company dedicated to excellence. Today that still holds true, and Rafael ensures quality control and rigorous craftsmanship with each and every project.

As CEO, Rafael is focused on strategic growth and business planning, and is also eager to inspire the next generation of roofers and industry leaders.

Rafael’s two sons and three daughters work in the business, mirroring their father’s work ethic and unwavering upward trajectory in commercial roofing.
